Moe Nagata

Moe NAGATA is a well-known picture book author and illustrator in Japan. Born on January 1949, in Kasai, a city near the port of Kobe, she studied design at a college of art in Kyoto. After she worked five years for publisher and design agency as a graphic designer, she turned freelance at age of 26. She has since then illustrated more than 150 books and worked on various commercial arts.
